The Signature Course

In 1997, The Signature Course was extended from a 9-hole to an 18-hole course, with the new nine designed by Peter Alliss, and the revision has made it a real treat. The front nine has recently undergone major renovation and combines hedgerows and undulating fairways with large greens and water features. The 10th hole on the Signature Course was perhaps considered as our “Signature Hole”, a 136 yard par 3 over water to a wide but shallow green, with an approach that rolls back to the water. That honour now goes to the stunning 18th. The substantial lake around the 10th green and 11th tee is sensitively managed to enhance both aquatic and birdlife and is also the home of the 11th tee, which is on a peninsula in the middle of the lake.
